Tha Pope

Tha Pope "Chicago Youngest Celebrity" has captivated and
generated the largest following of young people from ages 3-20 in
Chicago history. With his charming personality, stylish swagger
and phenomenal dance & Rap abilities, Tha Pope has been
compared to the likes of Usher, Chris Brown and other great
entertainers and performers. In 2006 Tha Pope electrified
thousands of fans at The Chris Brown Concert with his famous
BOB and Footwork Abilities. 2007 NBA All-Star Game in Las
Vegas, Tha Pope was hired by Michael Jordan & Nike to perform
his style of dance to thousands in attendance, sharing the stage
with Bow Wow, Ciara, and Ludacris. Tha Pope has also performed
with Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy, Hurricane Chris, Flo-
Rida, Twista, Lloyd and more. In 2007 Tha Pope released his
Chicago street anthem “Bob That Back Down” which created a
new dance that has captivated all of the youth. Now teamed with
Street Flava Music Group and with new songs: Candy Luv, Show-
Me-Som ‘em My Bag, It My Birthday, Take Your Shirt Off and Body
In Motion and a self titled upcoming debut album. Due the highly
publicized gun violence and deaths with young teens, Tha Pope
has teamed up with WPWX Power 92 morning personality Tray
The Chocolate Jock in Chicago along with local politicians,
business men and women to form the “Stop The Violence Tour”
which visits Chicago Public and Charter schools to speak to the
kids in regards to curtailing gun and gang violence. After the
discussions then Tha Pope takes the stage for his high energy
performance. Tha Pope is poised to take this excitement he’s
created to a national and worldwide level! I recently got a chance
to interview Chicago's very own Tha Pope at a concert. Below are
