Gillette Fusion and Rolling Out Urbanstyle Weekly recently launched a 5-city tour,
highlighting local barbers as well as men considered to be arbiters of good taste and great
style. The event kicked off in Chicago with the Men of Style Awards, which was hosted by
Fonzworth Bentley and LisaRaye McCoy. This event was followed up by an in barber shop
event called the Gillette Fusion MVP Experience at host barbershop, Techniques Design
located in Calumet City, IL. Men who attended were given complimentary shaves, massages,
gifts and a chance to win tickets to the Super Bowl in Miami. The owner of Techniques
Design is celebrity barber Marcus Davis, who has worked with Jalen Rose, Ice Cube, Bow
Wow, Judge Mathis, and comedian George Wilborn, just to name a few. Below are photos
from the event held in Chicago, along with an interview with celebrity barber Marcus Davis.
The tour will also make stops in New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta.
